It's not every day that we have to share news like this, but this is one of those sad times that we do. Everybody is dealing with different things in their lives which leads to us making different choices and going down separate paths. All of us have the good and bad things occurring within our bubble and some of us respond to those events differently than others.

One thing that we can say is that there are dangerous things happening in all of our lives, but they are less dangerous than having to wake up and be a cop every day. Let's be honest here for a second, police officers wake up every day knowing that they may not make it back home to their families because of something that happens while they are duty.

Not taking anything away from this, but there are tons of people out here who think the same thing about having an interaction with a cop. Sometimes, there are people who don't ever make it back home to their families because of a dangerous run in with a public safety officer.

A 17-year-old teen from Flint was shot by Michigan State Police Troopers on Saturday November 2nd and has since succumbed to his injuries from the incident

Michigan State Police posted on Twitter, which you can see above sharing details about the event. They say the altercation occurred around 6:30pm and that the officers involved have been placed on paid administrative leave which is standard policy.

They say the 17-year-old was armed and ran away from police when he was confronted and was then shot and killed. They did recover a loaded handgun from the scene and both the MSP 2nd District Special Investigation Unit and MSP Crime Lab have started their investigation.
